Forever Found created the International Missionary Program as a response to Christ’s commands for us as his followers. The Great Commission, which Christ commands of all His disciples, is to: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). "Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the Earth" (Acts 1:8).

We share the gospel with others because only Jesus Christ can offer true salvation. "He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (I John 2:2). Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" (John 14:6).

In addition to spreading the gospel, Forever Found realized the need to build a more holistic relationship with our international partners. By traveling to and residing at one of our partner rescue homes, Forever Found missionaries will act as the liaison between the Forever Found home office and the partner rescue home. They will oversee the Child Sponsorship program from the field and ensure that the funds provided by Forever Found supporters are used properly. In addition, Forever Found missionaries will oversee any urgent projects that take place in country for the duration of their stay.

The role of a missionary is not one to be taken lightly. Forever Found missionaries are not only an extension of Forever Found, but an extension of Christ and his servanthood. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)
