Our trainings are generally offered for free and are suitable for social service professionals, law enforcement, ministry workers, people who work with youth, parents, and the general community.


PEOPLE FOR SALE: HUMAN TRAFFICKING 101

Human trafficking exists in every country in the world, even in Ventura County. This training answers the what, where, why, and how of both labor and sex trafficking around the world. Learn to identify victims and help survivors.

• Length: 1 hours, 1.5 hours, and 2 hours options; Cost: Free


IEMPATHIZE: EMPOWERING YOUTH

The Empower Youth Program for Teens is a tool that helps those already working with youth to facilitate prevention-focused conversations about empathy and exploitation in their schools and neighborhoods. Educators, parents, and youth service providers will benefit from this five-part series of short films, activities and discussion questions to empower teens 7th grade and up to successfully navigate the vulnerabilities in their lives in order to recognize and stay safe from exploitation. • Length 5 classes, each 30 – 60 min.; Cost: Free


HARM AT HOME: COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION IN CALIFORNIA

The majority of children will be approached by a sexual predator in person or online before their 18th birthday. Many will become entrapped in the sex industry. Learn about cyber-safety and how you can help prevent, rescue and restore victims of sex trafficking.

•Length: 1.5-4 hours depending on your agency; Cost: Free


CUSTOM TRAININGS

Specifically tailored for your organization (i.e. frontline staff, educators, social service providers, faith communities, etc.).

•Length: 2 – 20 hours depending on your agency; Cost: Negotiable


HUMAN TRAFFICKING CASEWORKER TRAINING

This training covers many facets of both sex and labor trafficking in California, including: history of human trafficking, civil and criminal law as it relates to human trafficking, societal attitudes towards human trafficking, peer counseling techniques, housing, public assistance and financial resources, referral services, plus privileged communications. This course fulfills the requirements per California Evidence Code 1038.2(b). 

•Length: 40 hours; Cost: Negotiable


FREEDOM ADVOCATE

Raise awareness for child trafficking in your sphere of influence. In this program, Forever Found equips you with a PowerPoint, videos, public speaking tips, a presentation script and other items we feel are helpful to inform our audience.
