the rescue homes
LOCATION: Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India
MISSION: Rescue the abandoned, orphaned and sold children from slavery, care for their needs and SHOW them the love of Christ.
In Kakinada, India we have now rescued over 400 beautiful children. These children would otherwise be serving as slaves, or starving on the streets, at risk of being trafficked into the brothels of Mumbai or New Delhi. This amount of children, to say the least, is a very large number to house and care for, but we had no other choice. We simply could not respond as the Levite or Priest did on the road to Jericho. We have to be the Good Samaritan Jesus tells us about in Luke 10. “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.” –James 4:17.
These precious children have been rescued from a life of slavery, both sex slavery and slavery in the form of working long, hard hours in the brick factories and rock quarries. They are now receiving an education, medical care, and being the taught the love and hope of Jesus.
URGENT HOUSING PROJECT CAMPAIGN
To address this need for permanent housing, we have a housing plan that includes many intricate details within two phases. Phase I is designed to create permanent housing for the estimated 400 children that we cannot find stable rental homes for - as finding rental properties that do not charge exorbitant rates, are in good areas, and are able to house large amounts of children, is very difficult in the part of India we work. For example, girls are currently being harassed by their neighbors due to the discovery of the children's past life in slavery, and many times their caste as well (according to Hindu religion they are Dalits or “untouchables” – the lowest of the caste system). The children in turn are having nightmares and experiencing pain due to the constant reminder of their past slavery. The need to build them a new home as soon as possible cannot be stated more clearly.
Miraculously a property was donated to Forever Found. And in August 2012, through our supporters generous donations, God provided the money for us to officially pay the registration fees and transfer this land to Forever Found India. On this property, we will build a home to safely house and educate these 400 children (As India homes/structures in the cities are large and multi-leveled this property has sufficient space.)

We need $75,000 more to begin construction of this three story home to house and educate 400 children. Please consider donating or contacting us for more questions.
